Overview:
1. You will need to register
in order to post. Please click the register link
to register. After registering, please check your email program for
your verification email. It is imperative that you click on the link
in your verification email in order to be able to post on the boards.
Any personal information
you put in your profile is strictly voluntary.
You may also update or change
your personal profile at any time.

You are given the option
of previewing your message by clicking on the "Preview" button. This
allows you to make any necessary changes before posting your message.
3. If you are new to the boards or if you have been using the boards for years, the search feature will help you find posts on topics that interest you. The search feature will be able to search
current posts and archived posts.
If you have
any questions or problems with the boards, contact the administration.

Board Guidelines
1. Please just
post information once. Multiple posts copied over and over are annoying
to people reading the board.
2. When registering you will have a place to post your URL
in your personal profile and it can be added to your signature, but
messages posted just to advertise your link may be deleted by the site
administration.
3. Personal email
addresses and telephone numbers in posts are not
recommended. If you would like someone to contact
you, please refer them to your personal profile or send them the
information via private message.
4. Copying and
pasting copyrighted material in a post is not allowed. To share
copyrighted material, post the URL and those that are interested may obtain the information
that way.
5. Please do
not email people at random to just offer information. This is not the
place to try and give out information that way or seek sales.
6. Do not post
offers to sell anything here, they will be deleted.
7. The use of the message
boards for gathering information for surveys and research studies is
prohibited. You may inform people of a survey and invite them to participate
by writing to you personally. Otherwise, these posts will be deleted. If you would like your survey posted on the message boards, please send your request to
the administration for permission.
8.
Discrimination
or prejudice based upon race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation,
national origin, age, disability, or veteran status is in violation
of federal law and
Scam Victims United policy, and will not be tolerated.
Do
not post prejudicial statements, comments or remarks in posts on the
boards. These will be removed immediately. Do not post prejudicial
URL's in your User Profile. The registered profile will be removed
immediately.
9. Harassment, personal
attacks and profanity are not allowed anywhere at
Scam Victims United. All are cause for you to be
removed/banned
from
Scam Victims United.
10. Pornographic material
and/or references to it is not allowed in posts or user profiles and
post and user profiles containing such information will be removed. The registered
user will be removed immediately.
11. Any banning of a visitor
from anywhere within the
Scam Victims United
website by any moderator is binding and the decision is final, and
no correspondence will be entered into nor will
Scam Victims United
be obliged to explain such banning.
12. Any person can be banned
by any moderator at
Scam Victims United for messaging comments
that are not constructive to the overall purpose and mission of the
Scam Victims United website or create
a distraction to that purpose and mission.
13. Posts that cause a distraction
to the purpose and mission of
Scam Victims United will
be removed or closed.
14. Here at
Scam Victims United
we support discussions as long
as they do not become solicitations, aggressive or hurtful to others.
If this happens
the thread or post will be closed by the moderators immediately without further
discussion.
**Your
email address will not be viewable to others in your Profile. If you
allow people to email you in your user options, they will have a link
to click to email you, but your email address will not be viewable
to them. However, if you email someone, when they receive your email,
your email address will be viewable to them.
Our Message
boards are an open format and all posts will appear. However, if a
post disregards the
Scam Victims United Message
Board guidelines it will be deleted immediately.
