Yes I was scammed out of $14,000 and a car. I don't know how I am going to survive. I can barely pay my bills. I made the mistake of marrying the guy only to find out that he was a con artist. And my parents have been hurt as well. My dad feels like he should have known or picked up that he was a con artist.

B of A has prevented him from having a checking account for the rest of his life. He saw me and knew that I had a checking account and an IRA and latched onto me. He took half of what I had in my IRA. Had me switch to a different bank with strickter policies. Wanted me to cash counterfeit checks from a scam that he was involved in that I refused to do. And when I refused to do that, that is when it all began to go downhill. Now I am going through a divorce because I cannot prove malice beyond a reasonable doubt. I owe on a new car payments that I don't know how I can make, while he drives the car that I had no payments on. Until the divorce is final I have to pay for his insurance on the car. He has sent thousands of dollars to Nigeria during our marriage and is still involved in those scams.

I miss having someone to laugh with and now I am adjusting to living on my own. I met him online and found out that he is looking for his next victim online.

I just hope that I can survive without going homeless in the process. My job doesn't pay enough to make the bills and I am looking for a better paying job. I might have an interview in October for a better paying job and hope to get it then I won't have to stress out about money.

Ok scammer I just reported you to the admin of this board! I would strongly suggest you remove yourself from scoping for more victims.

Just in case anyone gets this email. Here is a copy of what I received in my private email on this board.

Definately a scammer.. they would not be using "hotmail" or "yahoo" for an email address if they were legit.. nice catch.. they have been removed from SVU.

Thank you for posting the email that they sent you on here. That will help others out.

This scam, when it works, is often called the Re-Victimization Scam.

I read your profile and I was very shocked. I have met a man online by the name of Ray Benson who happens to chat with me via his yahoo messenger which is the same one as the one listed on the previous post raybenson_01. I think is the same person like you said he is trying to scam someone else. He is always sending me messages. I first I ignored them but then I started chatting with him. I became suspicious because all the love poems and him telling me he loves was really weird for someone I haven't met. Please let me know if I can do something to help. He still sends me messages.

Sorry about your lost.

I think that he should be reported to yahoo . . . they could shut down his account . . . of course that will only slow him down since he can easily open a new account. I wish that places that offer free email accounts would block IP addresses of people reported as being scammers, that way they could not just go and open a new account . . . of course I do understand why they legally cannot . . . if the IP address if from an internet cafe, then you are blocking everyone who sits down there and not just the scammer who was using it that day. Sad really.
