I suppose everyone knows of this one - I was sucked in around 1993, I blew my whole savings on this, and well, there was no product to sell! I was introduced to it by acquantances I consedered "friends" (I actually knew one of them *before* they had heard of Equinox) - they loved it, thought they were gonna make tons of dough, gave me the "oppertunity," and well, it must be a great way to lose friends! I haven't heard from them since i sank my money into it and lost it all.. I haven't had that much money in the bank since (but that's my own issue)...

I've never heard of Equinox. Is it a ponzi/pyramid marketing scheme?

Back in 1993, fresh out of college, I was desparately seeking a job. I saw an ad in the Chicago Reader that started out, "YOU, INTELLIGENT, CONFIDENT...." I can't remember the rest, but I know it sounded promising, so I decided to pursue it. Instead of a job interview, I ended up at some lecture about selling Equinox, with bullshit about how it would cahnge the world. Since I knew selling wasn't my cup of tea (in any way, shape, or form!), I got out of that one quickly!
