"In order to process your order, we must confirm your information with your issuing bank. This process will take an additional time and may delay the estimated order completion time we suggested originally. To expedite this process, please fax or email us a copy of the front and back of your credit card and a copy of a valid id card with photo.Email address you can send such information to is cardinfo@ka.tc"

i got an email from a company i regularly order from. now i didn't fall for it, but it did link back to the site where i could sign in, and when i checked messages from the company they keep on their site, this one was there, too. it was in a weird place, but it's still there!

never email this information! email is not secure. this message is for people who don't already know it, obviously.

WOW! Most of us are pretty used to seeing this stuff with "big names" on it...like Ebay and Pay Pal and even banks like Citi-bank...it makes sense that they would eventually move to the more "obscure" sites because they believe the trail will be 1) harder to follow and 2) they might have a greater success rate due to fewer people thinking "they" (the scammers) would bother with smaller sites.

Good find!

this is onlinesmoker.com

just for the record, i order cigs for my housemate, who smokes outside. i take care of bills. i don't smoke cigarettes.

but you can see how anyone is a potential threat or victim! and they still haven't purged the scammers, or at least their trail. i let them know...
