Hi,

I think I have been about to be scammed, I was selling a second hand product via internet, when a man from nigeria asked me for the product, when we had agreed the price i sent him mi bak acount information. then i checked his phone number and i got the information that the prefix is used by scammers. ive sent him a mail saying ive sold the product to sbd else and not to put any money in my account. Ive blocked the account also.

what else should i do?

I told them to block any incoming and outgoing money until i talk to the man in my office. I also tried to get money from my bak account and the atm tells mi that this operation is can not be done.

Tomorrow im going to cancel my account.

when you told them to block all incoming and outgoing transactions, they may have turned off your ATM so I would take that as a good sign

Done! I have closed my bank account. I was scared about the fact that they could have moved a lot of money to my account and then ask me if i could move the money added to another account helping them to move ilegal money. I don't know if that has happened to anyone but i didnt want to take the risk as they havent answered any email since they got my account info.

Now they only have my name and mobile phone, should i change mobile number also?
