Got a call asking for my brother in law by name, I said he never lived here, then they said, they wanted my husband, by name, and would only tell me it was business. I said he does not do business with you, they argued with me and said he does and to have him call 1-866-389-6161. Nationwide Credit. We have never been late on any payment and pay all bills in full. What is going on with this company and why are they calling us? I googled the phone number and immediately told my husband NOT to give out any info, and then I called prepaid legal for advice. |

Whatever you do... DON'T give them any bank, credit card or social security number information.... they will wipe out your bank account. I Googled that number and read some pretty interesting stuff. Below is a link to the Federal Trade Commission about a lawsuit against this company for doing what they are doing to you.... you may want to contact them and let them know that they are STILL doing what they have been sued for. Also check all your cc statements etc to make sure noone has and is using your cc's or bank account... also now would be a good time to change all your passwords and to put on an alert at the three major credit bureaus. http://www.ftc.gov/opa/1998/10/nationwide.shtm |
