This is not really a scam, or is it? You be the judge!
Here are some facts when you consider buying/leasing Dell.
Dell sell a system that they soon find out is faulty.
The system is identical to that Dell also sold in the America's.

Out of Warranty Support Program
Dell™ will provide out of warranty coverage in North, Central and South America for OptiPlex™SX270(UFF), GX270, GX280 systems with failed motherboards due to expanding or leaking capacitors for 5 years from date of purchase, or until 31-January-2008, whichever comes first.
BUT, no such program is initiated in Australia.
It seems that Australians have to grovel to Dell to get, what the ACCC say's is legally theirs, a replacement.
As a reasonable and prudent person it is obvious that Dell is only serious about customer care when it's forced upon them, BUT, NOT in Australia.
Well, not until the ACCC have finished their investigation about this. (reported by me as I am a victim)
