I really believe, this IS a scam, because he wants you to agree to something he can't do as an employee...And he wants you to put it into your account, so if busted by the authorities, he can drop you in it if they ask him, where'd the money go??
You'd be his Partner in crime...

This asking scam can't possibly work to give you money as he's asking for personal info,and never intending to deposit anything into your account.It's probably so he can create fake ID etc, and go get the $$ himself...
