To give some history- I have a sailboat for sale - and this was an email I got in response to the boat. It is a 1979 Taylor Racer Sailboat

This was the 2nd email I received....
Thanks very much for your fast respond to my email, well l think i am very much in need of the 1994 Nitro DC and just to really know from you if it is very much in good order.

Well l think i will take it at the price of $2,700.

Just care to let you know that i am presently in the UK for now for a business appointment but would be willing to make out the payment via my financier who is in the state , who i can instruct to reissue my total payment of $5,700 in your name but would inform you on what to do with the balance of the $3000 regarding to the shipping and some other stuff.

I always laugh when the scammer does not even know what item it is that they are buying . . . but I guess when you have so many scams to keep track of you can get them mixed up. :roll:

I have always been told when something sounds too good ... it probably is - well I read that email and like I say as wonderful as it would have been to sell that boat, it just did not feel right, sound right, seem right, and I thought well, I could be being cynnical or paranoid but I still had to bring it to you for your opinion -- you felt the same as me, So, thanks for having this website, being a part of this to help people out...
