I sell items on Ebay. A few weeks ago, I listed a pair of Adidas tennis shoes. I soon started receivng e mails form various people telling me that they sold shoes, perfume, etc that I might be interested in. The e mails came from Italy, China, and Taiwan. They came from registered E bay users. Ebay's system is set up now to monior e mails somewhat. Has anyone on the board received this type e mail? I imagine that it is a scam of some sort , though I would like to find honest, legitimate sources of items for resale. Thanks.

I received an email the other day from a guy telling me he had not received something he bought from me. I do not have an Ebay account. I think the fraudsters will use any means to try to defraud us, beware..............

I tried to contact ebay about these messages - but their system became so involved and time consuming that I gave up. I have received many fraudulent ebay messages also.
