That's right! You guess it. Another telemarketing company busted by the feds and this time it's caught on video.
Timeshare Now, Inc. in Clearwater, Florida (hmmmmmmmm. Seems to be a pattern these days in that city) sold advertising packages to timeshare owners who wanted to sell. The company had only 20 employees working the phones. The owner had no license, no comment and apparently no company to operate anymore. He also owns a second business that sold software, it to was unlicensed.
Can we call these people DUMBASSES!!
Anyway, ABC Action News reporter Jackie Calloway has a segment named, "Call to Action". It is part of a nationwide program to help consumers fight fraud.
If you want to see the EXCLUSIVE news footage of Timeshare Inc. being raided by the feds, just click below. Then look for the the date 7/27/06 "Telemarketing Company Busted" and click on that. The video will pop up shortly.

It just seems to me Clearwater, Florida has a problem lately with illegal telemarketing companies operating there. If you get an unsolicited call for anything being sold over the phone, make sure you check them out on the internet first before giving your business to them. Start by Googleling their name b/c it's a great place to start, then go from there.
Hope this helps.
