Hello, I am new to all of this. I was almost scarmed by a person called Deborah Wellsford. Because of your website, I did not take any action to send money (the old saying "to good to be true) I would like to sincerly thank you for this forum. The scam i was going to get into was for an english bulldog. They are no longer useing nigeria, it is the republic of benin... this is the information that they sent me.

"Below is the payment details, kindly go ahead and visit the nearest Western Union store to make the payment in the name of my Driver.

Receiver's Name: Michael Taiwo Babatunde
Address: #10, Church Street.
City: Cotonou
Country: Benin Republic
Your text Question: My Colour
Your text Answer: Black
Amount sent: $400"

I have all the emails and I am not sure what I should do with them. Should I report them and if so where to? Please help me so that someone else would not be taken by these people again. And again THANK YOU so much for this website.

Sincerly Jeanie

Thank you for posting this information on our site! Maybe if they try this with someone else, that person will google their name or the address and will find the information that you posted and know that it is a scam.

Since the scammers are in another country there really is not much you can do to "catch" them . . . but like I said, maybe posting their info here will help prevent someone else from becoming a victim.

If any of these people call you through any sort of RELAY service, they're a scam. Trust me on this.

What is your name?

Yes, it is very possible that the scammer is using your name, or even your address to make themselves seem more "legit".
