I recently visited a site that is talking about "all the rage" on the internet right now. Believe it or not, it is a reincarnation of the old Dave Rhodes Chain Letter (you know the one---send me and everyone on the list below $1 and then add yourself to the list and send that out to your friends, etc).
This scam uses paypal instead of the post office, email addresses instead of home addresses, and is actually using Oprah as a promotion tool! ("As seen on the Oprah show!" is one of the promotion lines).
The original DR letter came out in the late 70s and I cannot believe it is coming back now on the internet. I cannot possibly believe that someone will fall for this scam---but you know they will!
