Dateline will be airing a show on "work at home" scams. Sunday, March 29: Promises, Promises With the economy in freefall and unemployment reaching record highs, Hansen investigates two schemes that sound too good to be true. One involves scams targeting people desperately searching for jobs, and the other, a self-professed visionary who claims he can increase gas mileage by 50 percent. The show, Dateline was supposed to show last week was on tonight. Thanks to the investigation one victim got lucky and received his money back. It seems Chris got in contact with one of the “accountants†who was picking up money from Western Union and then transferring it to Nigeria. When she found out the truth she gave the money to Chris to give back to Michael. I am not sure if you can watch the show online, but if you can it is well worth the time to watch it. |

We recorded it and are going to try and watch it sometime this week. I am going to guess that clips of it will be on YouTube soon. It would be nice to get Chris Hanson doing MORE of these stories. |
