IM TRYING TO AUCTION OFF STUFF TO EARN $$ TO TREAT MY DOGS LYMPHOMA HE NEEDS CHEMO ASAP,IVE NEVER AUCTIONED BEFORE SO I DONT KNOW WHAT SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM(besides the obvious),MOST OF THE EMAILS IM GETTING FROM BIDDERS SOUND LIKE THEY R TRYING TO PULL A FAST ONE BUT I JUST NOT SURE?? CAN I FORWARD OR PASTE SOME BIDDERS EMAILS AND GET SOME OPINIONS, PLEASE HELP, MY LITTLE GUYS LIFE DEPENDS ON THE $$ I MAKE IN AUCTIONS RIGHT NOW. ALSO WHICH IS SAFER TO ACCEPT CASHIER CHECH OR MONEY ORDER VIA POSTAL SERVICE? ANY INFO WOULD HELP,THANX |

Neither one is safer than the other. If the person sends you the check/money order for MORE than the amount of the item that you are selling and wants you to wire/return any portion of that money to them, then it is a scam. |

Anyone who offers you an over-payment, asking you to return the excess to him/her, or some third party, particularly a 'shipper', via Western Union or any other instant money transfer mechanism is definitely out to scam you. Beware of bogus escrow agents recommended by the buyer, as well as bogus emails from Western Union claiming a payment is waiting for you, and will be released once you send a verifiable shipping reference to show you have despatched the goods. |

I KINDA FIGURED I WAS ABOUT TO GET TAKEN BY THESE WORTHLESS CROOKS WHO CLAIMED TO BE HONEST BIDDERS INTERESTED IN SOME ITEMS IM AUCTIONING ONLINE, WHAT CAN I DO NOW TO HELP CATCH THESE THEIFS? ANY WAY TO TRACK THEM DOWN? |
