Met a person named Robert Anderson at SENIORPeopleMeet.com. He seemed a little needy which was a major turn-off but I agreed to be a "penpal" figuring this guy just needed to reach out to someone. His profile listed his residence as Thermal, CA. I asked where that was and he replied he moved to New York due to a better job offer (never telling me where Thermal was). He would try to reach me via IM's twice a day for about a couple of weeks but usally missed me because I have a busy schedule. However, I would reply his missed IM's as a courtesy and suggested emails. When we did chat I noticed irregularities in his typing. Instead of "oooh" he would type "hooo" and this was quite often. He would repeat questions/comments from a previous message or from earlier in the same message. In our last IM he said his daughter, Helen, wanted to chat with me. I invited him to put her on. Now I have never met these people so this seemed a bit odd. Daughter went on to say her Dad told her all about me (which couldn't have been much since I just chatted in general with Rob). Rob had mentioned he got the bid on a contract that would send him to Africa. Daughter confirmed this but said she would have rather spend the time with me (again, this is the first time I was ever in contact with the daughter) but was excited about going. She also mentioned it was around her birthday and asked what was I going to send her as a present. (Excuse me? I don't know this girl from Eve and she's asking for a gift from a total stranger?) I explained I could only send her good wishes as I was on a tight budget. She replied with "Hooo" (RED FLAG) She suggested "a little something that I should be able to get but I asked "Why me?". Then she dropped the subject. We said our good-byes and I signed off. I have not heard from Rob since. Hmmmmm. About a week ago he expressed he cared about me and had stopped going to the web site where we met, that I was his only contact. Yesterday I went to the web site to block him and saw he had logged on that same day. As far as I know, he is still with SENIORPeopleMeet.com and uses the User Name of june1958. If anyone else has "met" this guy, I suggest you keep your guard up. And beware of his 15-yr.-old daughter Helen.

Have you given all of this information to SENIORPeopleMeet.com? If they get multiple reports from people like you about this person, they may take some action to block him from the site.
