Because you want the money in your checking account you go to the bank to depsit it. Why would I go to the Post office to cash the money order and then go to the bank to deposit the money into my account if I could just do it all in one stop?

Agreed . . . but what about the people who are selling items online? That is not SPAM that they are getting, it is a person answering their online advertisement.

Again, I would agree, but the question is when are you 1000% sure? I check could come back MONTHS later as counterfeit and then you are liable. How long is long enough to wait to know that it is legit?
