Yes it is legitimate.

However a common follow up scam is to approach a victim claiming to be an investigator with the EFCC and then ask for fees to help get the victim's money back.

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!!!!!!

Once your money has been picked up from Western Union, it is lost forever and no-one will be able to get it back.
