I have recently fallen victim to an online scammer. I performed a service for someone who paid me through email money transfer. I thought this was safe because I didn't have to give the person any of my banking information. |

Education and research is the best key to protecting yourself from scams. I am sorry to hear that you fell victim to this scam. |

Don't feel bad dear. It could have been much worse. I was cheated out of $280,000. Sometimes in life we have to learn a lesson or two the hard way. |

Legally there isn't much you can do. (unless it's a local scammer which usually isn't the case.) -- Education is best. When you learn about scams and how they work, you will be able to tell the difference almost instantly. Also, did you know that 95% of 'Work at home' jobs are scams? |
