:?: I get more than my share of these. Most of them appear to come from England. Sometimes I get 3 or more the same day.

If you are addressed as "Dear sir or madam", you can bet they don't know your name YET! DO NOT reply.! If you do,, they will know your email, your name, etc. and can search the internet for whatever else they want.

My name was stolen from a complaint board website and is being used illegally by a scammer offering goods or services for sale on the internet, but they never deliver what they offer and keep the money. I have not lost a dime yet but I get lots of complaints from victims looking for refunds. I am probably going to switch ISPs and get a new email address without my name associated with it.
