Help has anyone heard of this chairty?

They where supposed to have give me a check for $1,101. But it didn't clear the bank, and I can't figure out if they put a hold on it or not. But the bank did say that there where lack of funds in the account. Can anybody help? The person isn't responding to emails.

Most likely its a scam there have been a few of those lately. Did the bank credit the money to your account while waiting for final pay out ?

It was never shown in the balance but under all transactions it showed up. Just not in the balance the bank is supposed to be sending the check back to me.

Like Karyn said, sounds fishy..... sounds like they are trying to gain your trust to possible get you to wire money to them in the future. Luckily, it sounds like no monies have been spent....
