 Post subject: scammed in wisconsin,help

i recently took an employment offer to be a payment representative for what i thought to be the itochu corporation.i recieved a cashiers check for 49,900 dollars and deposited it.it looked real and the e-mails duped me real good.two days after the deposit i was allowed to use 5000 from what the teller told me.ive spent 1700 and now my account is closed.what should i do?stupid me thought it was legit.can anyone tell me what i should do?

contact the bank and try to set up payment arrangements, not much else you can do

You said you spent $1700, if it is on something that can be returned to the store try to return it and then turn the money back over to the bank. Otherwise make a payment agreement with the bank. I would show them any emails or anything you have from the scammers so they know you are being truthful.

As a side note, don't you just love winter's in WI, more snow coming tonight aren't you thrilled. Oh and more mixture garbage this weekend I can't wait. :lol:

admin,

I am sure you got worse winters in MN that I will ever see here in WI. Lets all just be thankful we don't live in the U.P. I have been told Marquette MI has had snow since mid-October.
