Can I ask what it is that you do for a living, and where you went to school?
I would like to know where it is that I can go to learn everything in the world, because obviously YOU must know everything so that is why YOU would know the laws on all forms of currency, and how YOU would know more than the people at the bank who work with this currency on a daily basis.

Really now....

All you need to do is carefully read the agreements you sign when you open the account.

They are contracts after all.

As for learning about how the banking system works....Well... more research less whining helps.

I had the account for over 15 years, and I did not have that documentation on me to review when I asked the bank employee to verify that the check was legit . . . I should remember to carry every piece of documentation with me at all times in case the business does not train their employees on what the rules really are.

I am asking is that they would have told me truthfully that it could take 7 to 10 days for the check to clear and be verified as legit, but they did not, they told me 24 hours, no problem which is not true.

Again, I guess my mistake is thinking that I did do my "research" BY ASKING SOMEONE WHO WORKS IN THE BANK!

Oh is that right? and where do you get this information? I dont work for a bank YOU know!!! so how the hell can I know these things?....The bank cleared the money after 5 days..this told me that they did their job and investigated.....so anyway if all you want to do is bash people and call them stupid then maybe you should go somewhere else. We dont need to hear how stupid we are or this or that..I WAS A VICTIM HERE SO STOP PUTTING THE FREAKING BLAME ON ME..yes i shouldnt have cashed them but at the time I thought it was a good thing i was doing.....

I have worked with some police officers who have been VERY helpful to victims . . . some are even members of this board . . . I just think that this negative person is someone who does not really understand the facts on all of these scams.
