I don't know how I allowed this to happen. I always gave myself credit for having more intelligence than to be taken in. Perhaps this might help others before they get too involved. If nothing else, thank you for letting me get this off my chest.

This is the a copy of the letter I wrote to Supplier(VFP)icq 223776725, Supplier(PM)icq302812538 and Capital Sums Forums phpbb High Amounts Paid for Receiving Bank Transfers:

Hi there! I have spent the last sixty years of my life sweating, toiling, and working my fingers to the bone, so I could look forward to retirement. In July of 2006, you sent me an e-mail. You approached me with a way to earn extra money. You said it was totally legitimate. Was I greedy? Yes, I must admit I was, because I viewed this as a means to an end. It meant I could stay at home and not ever again would I have to slave away for twelve hours a day, five days a week in order to make ends meet. I was thrilled. I even quit my job and in doing so, gave up thirty years of seniority. It never occurred to me that anything could possibly go wrong. After all, I thought, when a bank certifies a cheque it means that that cheque would be guaranteed by the bank. I couldn’t wait to get started. I was prepared to transfer money from now until kingdom come. You gave me hope!

That hope was extremely short lived. Now, thanks to you, I am in one helluva heap of trouble. Yes, thanks to you, on October 1, 2006, my Bank will be foreclosing on my mortgage and taking my house because I haven’t any money to pay the mortgage payments. The Finance Company will be repossessing my car because I haven’t the money to pay the car payments. The RCMP and Bank Security people from both Banks have started an investigation into this matter, and have advised me I could very well be facing charges of fraud, two counts; theft, two counts; and, attempted fraud, two counts.

Why did all this happen? Because, the certified cheques you sent to me were counterfeit. In short, you stole $5,300.00 from me. I realize that $5,300.00 to you is no doubt just a drop in the bucket, but to me, it was everything. That money, my house, my car and my job were all that I had. Now, thanks to you it is all gone. I am bankrupt. You have totally ruined my life.

Congratulations! How utterly thrilled are you with yourself and your performance? Did you give yourself a big pat on the back? How many individuals have you succeeded in doing this to? How much money have you managed to accumulate at the expense of others? When you are sitting there on your high horse, with your cohorts, do you even think about the hardships you cause? How many lives have you ruined?

This will be the last correspondence you will, from this day forth, be receiving from me. I suspect, however, you will hear from, and have further dealings with, the RCMP and Bank Security personnel. They have requested that I forward all correspondence that I have regarding this matter to them within two weeks. Please be advised, I will be quite happy to comply with their request, especially if it means putting people like you behind bars where you belong and stops you from doing this to anyone else.

Thank you for giving me this opportunity to express myself.

You're not alone and you are not stupid, I am in the same situation as you but my event happened in thanksgiving in 2004, I thought everything was legit since the job posting that I got was from Careerbuilder.com and I was really excited about this job because I was on Maternity leave that time and my husband was fired so I really have no income, I responded to this posting on career builder and went straight to hell. Ever imagine seeing your kids don't have gifts during christmas. They told me santa forgot them and it broke my heart so bad that I wanted to go to Germany and kill the person that did this to me. So don't feel bad because you're not alone.

Sounds like you might need some legal help with this. Where do you live?

If you live in Minnesota, contact me privately and I will send you the contact information for a wonderful lawyer.

If you live in a state other than Minnesota,

The National Center for Victims of Crime
2000 M Street NW, Suite 480
Washington, DC 20036
1-800-FYI-CALL
http://www.ncvc.org

and tell them about your situation and that you are looking for a lawyer in your area.
