Many of you read the tragic story of the Tennessee minister's wife who shot her husband in March and fled to Alabama. The news accounts were that the motive for murder was not known. In today's account, it said that the two were arguing over financial problems because of "overseas scam."

That is so sad. I know that the financial problems that come up from falling victim to these scams often can pull a relationship apart, and that can be even worse if one person went forward with the transaction when the other person in the relationship thought that it was no safe to do . . . it can cause one person in the relationship to "blame" the other.

I am glad that my husband and I always held strong together through all of this, but I can see how it would cause stress in a relationship.

I'm currently working with two families involved as scam victims, fortunately I don't think there will be any gun action, but its really sad to see families ripped apart through this sort of thing.
