Hi I just found this site and I have a load of questions and no time to read all the posts or search now.
I entered a van on the free local kaboo classified and the next day a E-mail came to me offering. without seeing the van. to mail a check and pick up the van. I told them no..but the cashier's check came anyway. I am still in posession of it and will not attempt to put it in the bank. My question is, should I just mail it back (came overnite FedX with conflicting addresses)? I tried to contact FBI but got messages. I would also love to get this into some investagation like they do on the news. Something to shut them down! What can I do?

I would not spend the money on postage to mail it back . . . the address could be fake anyway. You could save it to show to others or tear or burn it.

The most you can do is spread the word to help educate others about this scam. Tell all of your friends and family. Support websites like ours that are trying to make a difference and educate people before they become victims.
